May 13 is the NBYSA General Election, please make every effort to show up and vote. Voting is going to occur from 7-8:30 at the Tree of Life Church. The meeting will be called to order at 7pm. We will then call candidates up to speak for each position, one at a time, in the order in which they are listed in the Constitution and Bylaws, ask for nominations from the floor and then proceed to cast ballots. Each position will closed after the ballots are cast so we can start counting while the next group is speaking and then announce the elected officers before the vote for the next office. (Reasoning for this is that some people might pull their nominations after who is elected for certain positions. Also it gives people a chance to decide if they want to run for a position based on who was elected.) I just wanted to clarify that voting is not 'open' from 7:00-8:30pm. You must be present at the time each position is being voted on. The positions available and current candidates are: President – Rene De La Cruz (incumbent) Vice President - David Del Heirro Treasurer – Michelle Morrelli (incumbent), Chrissy White Registrar – Jenny Malin, Trisha Spahn Director of Sponsorship – Shawnna Del Heirro
