Zero Tolerance Policy

Zero Tolerance Policy

NBYSA is a soccer association committed to good sportsmanship and quality of play for our children. NBYSA will enforce a code of conduct for all players, coaches, parents, administrators and referees. NBYSA has a policy of zero tolerance for behaviors, comments, and actions that endanger or threaten the environment of good sportsmanship and safe play for all soccer participants. This includes but is not limited to the following:

1. The use of foul language, abusive or derogatory comments towards referees, coaches, players, administrators or parents by any individual while at the soccer fields or in the parking areas.

2. Any issue involving physical altercations, assault or battery (as defined in the STYSA Discipline, Protest, Grievance and Appeal Procedures) of any players, referees, coaches, administrators or parents. Such offenses can lead to removal from the premises and a ban from the soccer facilities for the remainder of the season and/or permanently.
