Recreational Soccer: Is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on winning or losing. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a life long love of the game. Rec Soccer is broken down into the two divisions below.
Division IV
Ages: 3 to 9 year olds (Under 4 - Under 10 in soccer language).
What: Division IV - Sport - this is a recreational level of play for U10 and younger players. This level is open to all players wishing to participate. Teams are formed in a fair and balanced manner with no selective elimination of players. All U10 and younger teams play small-sided games (3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, 7 vs 7, etc., depending on age group) in accordance with the rules of US Youth Soccer.

Division III
Ages: 10 to 18 year olds (Under 11 - Under 19)
What: Division III - this is a recreational level of play for U11 through U19 players. This level is open to all players wishing to participate. Evaluations may be completed to allow coaches the opportunity to identify the skill level of the players and to be used to balance teams. Teams may play intra-association through CAYSA, or may play only with other NBYSA teams. There is also an in-house Interleague for U11 and U12 only, where all games are played in New Braunfels (Weston Fields).
