NBYSA Tournaments

4th Annual NBYSA Wurst Cup
 

The tournament will be held this November 17th and 18th in New Braunfels, TX and is open to U6-U12 recreational, academy, and select teams.  Note this is the weekend AFTER Wurstfest, so hotels will be easy to come by.  This is NOT a stay-to-play event, so teams may stay anywhere they wish.

Tournament Information

Age Groups:

U6-U12 Recreational Teams
U9-U12 Academy & Select Teams

All teams are guaranteed 3 games. All U6 - U8 recreational teams will receive participation awards.

Fees:
U6-U8 Recreational $160 per team

U9-U10 Recreational and Select $240 per team

U11-U12 Recreational and Select $280 per team 

Format:

U6 -U8 Teams will play 4v4

U9-U10 Teams will play 7v7

U11-U12 Teams will play 9v9

Application deadline is November 8, 2018.

Team Check-in

All check-in will be done online and a link will be provided later.  To complete the online check-in, each team will be certifying that:
1) rosters are finalized and presentable to officials before the start of each game if requested
2) player cards (virtual cards will be accepted), including guest players’ cards, are complete
3) all medical waivers are completed and will be in the possession of coaches during games
4) coaches are kidsafe certified and will wear kidsafe badges during games
 

Team, Player and Coach Credential Check:

Each team must be able to present its validated roster and player cards (if applicable) to either a Tournament Official or the Referee team before the start of each match, if requested. A player may play for only one team in the tournament and must be listed on the approved roster. If a player plays in a game and is not properly registered, the team will automatically forfeit that game and may face further penalties as determined by the Tournament Director and/or Home Association. The wearing of hard casts, whether padded or not, will not be permitted at any time.
